Arena Covid Rules

FWFN ARENA RULES
 
Facility Arrival and Screening

• All participants are to arrive no earlier than 45 minutes prior to their ice rental
• All participants must leave the facility within 15 Minutes of their ice rental end time
• When you enter the arena coaches, players, volunteers, officials, spectators and parents must show QR code Vaccine certification. This is for anyone over the age of 12.
• NO exemption letters are allowed. If a person has an exemption it will come up on their QR code.
• Team officials will stand at the front entrance and screen their own team. A record of that screening will have to be available if asked for by our health unit.

General Information

• Masks are required at all times while walking through the facility or spectating area
• Try to keep a safe distance of 2 meters from others at all times
• No food or drink is permitted indoors except for the sole purpose of hydration on the ice in the form of a water bottle.
• Any person that brings in a player or child spectator needs to have control of that person while they are in the arena. No children running around the arena will be allowed. Security will find their parents and escort them out of the arena. No second chances.

Important information

• No more than 50 participants on the ice including participants, coaches, referees, etc.
• Max capacity rink 1 is 250 and Rink 2 is 125.
• Masks MUST BE worn to and from the change rooms and any time outside of the ice.
Pre-game warm up is to be completed outside of the building until further direction from the Ontario Government. The use of hallways, walkways, spectator stands, etc. is prohibited.
• Any teams found to be letting others in through back doors without going through the screening process will have their rental times revoked.

Additional Recommendations

• Dressing rooms doors will be propped open to help ventilation
• SHOWERS are allowed at this time.
